Two incumbents running unopposed
Neal Loehrke and Sandy Smith are both seeking second terms on the Weyauwega-Fremont School Board. They filed nomination papers to be on the ballot in the spring election. The deadline to do so was 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3. They will be unopposed, as no other candidates filed papers for the two open board seats. Loehrke, who is the school board’s president, represents the city of Weyauwega. Smith represents the towns of Mukwa and Royalton. The terms on the school board are for three years.
