Manawa Rural Fire and Ambulance awards
Recognition awards were presented at the 2011 Manawa Rural Fire & Ambulance Christmas & Award Banquet held at Cedar Springs Golf Resort on Saturday, Jan. 14.
The Chief’s Award, given to the person the Rural Fire Chief deems earned it, was awarded to Mark Hass (left).
The Firefighter of the Year was awarded to Eric Pynenberg (center) and EMT of the Year was awarded to Tammy Arndt (right). These two awards are voted on by their peers in each respective department based on their dedication and extraordinary service to their community throughout the year.
These awards are provided every year by the Sturm Foundation.
