Beer tasting in New London
The 5th Annual Beer Tasting Event, hosted by the New London Chamber of Commerce, will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Crystal Falls Banquet Facility. More than 65 beverages, including regional and international beers, unique wines and specialty beverages, will be showcased. Attendees will have a chance to sample many varied beverages and offer their palate a little something more than they’re used to. Local businesses that offer the products being served will also be showcased. Tickets can be purchased for $25 through February 25, including at the door. Tickets include: a commemorative souvenir glass, hors d’ oeuvres, sampling of all beverages and live music by "Revolution" from 9 until Midnight. Attendees who will NOT be sampling the alcohol can purchase an admission ticket for $10. This admission will include: hors d’ oeuvres, soda and music by "Revolution" from 9 until Midnight. Tickets can be purchased at the New London Chamber office, Citizens Bank, Corks and Caps Beverage Company (Greenville), Festival Foods, First State Bank, Fox Communities Credit Union, Jolly Roger’s Pizzeria, the Quiver n’ Minnow, the River Rail (Shiocton), The StoneYard Food & Spirits (Greenville) and the Waters Supper Club & Lounge. A free ride home program donated by Double J Shuttle! will also be available. Rides home within the New London city limits are free, while rides outside of New London city limits are available for a small fee.
