Lioness Club sponsors rummage sale
The Waupaca Lioness Club will sponsor its second annual Waupaca Community Wide Rummage Sale on Saturday, June 9. The Lioness will promote rummage sales with flyers, ads in the Waupaca County Post, Buyers’ Guide and Visitors’ Guide and announcements on WDUX. Information about the rummage sale will also be posted on the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce website, and maps with all registered sale locations will be printed and distributed. As a community service, part of the $5 registration fee will be donated to the local food pantry. Registration forms are available throughout the Waupaca area where flyers are posted, or may be picked up at the Danes Home Antique Store, 301 N. Main St., Waupaca, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The store is closed Wednesdays. Early registration is encouraged, but the deadline is June 1.
