Duck race seeks sponsors
The Waupaca Jaycees will dump nearly 2,000 rubber ducks into the Waupaca River during Strawberry Fest, Saturday, June 16. The sixth annual Mighty Waupaca River Duck Race offers prizes from local businesses and helps raise funds for Jaycees’ community projects. The organization is currently seeking business sponsors for the duck race. Levels of sponsorship range from $500 to $100 and include recognition in Jaycees’ advertising of the event and mention on the day of the race. Businesses can also donate prizes for the winners of the duck race. For more information, email info.waupacajaycees@gmail.com.
