New London police have arrested two Hortonville people and referred them to the district attorney’s office for burglary charges.

On May 21, a burglary was reported to police at Familiar Grounds, 206 N. Pearl St. in New London.

It is estimated that the suspects got away with over $3,000 in cash and merchandise.

The New London Police Department posted photos from the surveillance cameras of the burglary on the New London Police Department’s Facebook page and subsequently received tips that resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

On May 23, police arrested Patrick D. Tate, 20, of Hortonville and referred charges for four counts of burglary.

Kaitlyn J. Baumann, 17, also of Hortonville, will be referred for charges of party to the crime.
