Armed robbery at Sunset Curve
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is seeking public help in finding a man who robbed the the Sunset BP Amoco gas station in rural Weyauwega. The armed robbery occurred shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday, July 1, at the station located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and Old Highway 49. The man threatened the clerk, then left in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash. Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, between 5-foot-8-inches and 6-feet tall, weighing between 170 to 200 pounds, thin build in his early to mid 20s. He has short brown hair and a short trimmed beard on the jaw line. He wore a pink hooded sweat shirt, gray gym shorts and white tennis shoes.
