Quilt raffle for WICEC
The Waupaca International Cultural Exchange Committee is holding a raffle for a handmade quilt by Cindy Reed Eddy and quilted by Meandering Mary LLC, of New London. The 81-inch bt 93-inch quilt is on display at the Waupaca Area Public Library and proceeds from the raffle will help support local students who will travel to Mitoyo, Waupaca’s sister city in Japan. Tickets are $5 each, three for $10 and eight for $20 and available from WICEC members or by contacting Cindy Redd Eddy at 715 256-9661. The drawing will be held at the "Bourbon Street to Broadway" concert on Aug. 18.
