Environmental incentives hearing Aug. 24
A public hearing on the Environment Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) will be held at 9 a.m. Aug. 24 at the USDA Service Center, 1337C Royalton St., Waupaca. This hearing is being held by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to facilitate discussion between interested parties concerning local conservation needs that should be included to emphasize local priorities in the anticipated EQIP sign-up. The agenda includes discussion of local priority resource concerns, and plan and process for the EQIP program. All interested persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present.
