4-H clubs seek new members
The 4-H clubs in Waupaca County are encouraging new members to sign up before the Feb. 1 deadline.
Open to any boy or girl in kindergarten through high school seniors, 4-H provides learning opportunities for leadership, citizenship and life skills.
Members can attend summer or winter camp, participate in a performing arts contest, help people in their community and travel to other parts of the U.S. They can learn about computers, animals, aerospace, woodworking, crops, photography or the arts.
In Waupaca County, there are nearly 500 members of 17 local clubs.
