Ray Hansen benefit set for June 19
CLINTONVILLE - A benefit for Ray Hansen will be held at Clintonville Lanes on Saturday, June 19. The event will feature a silent auction, bake sale, bowling, and live entertainment. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase, with cash prizes up for grabs. Tickets can be purchased at Ray's Mobil and other local gas stations and bars.
Hansen is battling lung and lymph node cancer. "He is doing pretty good right now," said his sister, Delores Malueg. "He isn't doing any chemo right now. They are waiting on some tests to come back, and he goes to the doctor about three times per week.
Hauser's Hot Shots will perform from 7-9 p.m., while karaoke with Barnacle Bill will be held from 9-11 p.m. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at 10 p.m.
