School recognizes graduating athletes
CLINTONVILLE - The staff, administration, and Board of Education of the Clintonville Public School District would like to congratulate the Class of 2010 on their graduation.
They would like to make special mention of those students that did not have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony this past Friday, due to their commitments at the WIAA State Track & Field meet in La Crosse. Those students are Carlos Davalos, Chadwick John Dobbe, Alexander Scott Faulks, April Marie Hanson, and Jason John Wilson. These outstanding student-athletes and their parents should be very proud.
At the ceremony on Friday, June 4, 2010, the names of these students were not announced. This was an inadvertent omission.
"The high school administration would like to apologize for this omission; it certainly was not done intentionally," stated Principal Lance Bagstad. "In the preparation for the ceremony and setting up for the program, the adjustments to the line-up were made and the student names were inadvertently omitted from the names list for the reading of the diplomas. We hope that the students and families will accept our sincere apology for this omission. Congratulations to these fine student-athletes."
