St. Martin's awards

CLINTONVILLE - St. Martin Lutheran School held its Annual Awards Program on June 4. Exceptional Church attendance awards were given to Ryan Genskow, Joe Klemp, Kyle Krueger, Nicole Kirchner, Kayla Klemp, Erin Aschenbrenner, Emily Schertz, Dalee Kruzicki, Makya Schroeder, Seth Betz, David Aschenbrenner, Matthew Carpenter, Beth Klemp, Joshua Schroeder, Molly Peters, Matthew Papendorf, Megan Schertz, Caitlin Carpenter, Tiffany Bricco, Leah Harbath, Tim Jerabek, and Danielle Aschenbrenner.

The following students received pins for perfect attendance for the year: David Aschenbrenner, Matthew Carpenter, Kyle Jobke, Caitlin Carpenter, and Taylor Carpenter.

The following students reached the National level for the Presidential Physical Fitness Awards: Kelsey Grzesiakowski, Trevor Laack, Taylor Carpenter, Mattison Beyersdorf, Brittany Bouchette, Danielle Kiefer, Keaton Kubitz, and Zachary Riemer.

The Presidential level for physical fitness was achieved by: Kaitlin Collier, Aaron Teske, Chrissy Betz, and Nick Hogen.

Aaron Teske received the track award for improving his times and measurements in every single event the first time he was tested this season.

Students achieving exceptional scores for the Accelerated Reader Program were honored with certificates of excellence. These students earned over 200 points: Bridget Bazile, Seth Betz, Matthew Papendorf, Caitlin Carpenter, Kaleb Hatfield, Kaitlin Collier. The top scores were earned by Matthew Carpenter with371, Jade Czarnecki with 566.1, and Tiffany Bricco with a new school record of 587.8 points.

Students achieving exceptional scores for the Accelerated Reader Program were honored with certificates of excellence.

The following students received the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence: Taylor Carpenter, Kaitlin Collier, Kelsey Gresiakowski, Ian Rogers, and Jean-Luc Sutton.

Four St. Martin students were inducted into the Honor Society by earning at least a B+ (3.2 grade point average) for eight straight quarters: Taylor Carpenter, Kelsey Grzesiakowski, Jean-Luc Sutton, and Kaitlin Collier.

The entire 7th grade class received the news reporter awards.

Music pins were received by Taylor Carpenter and Danielle Aschenbrenner, with a trophy for the top music award given to Danielle Aschenbrenner.

Merit Badges were earned by: Aaron Teske and Kaitlin Collier, who earned 20 credits. Kelsey Grzesiakowski earned 24 credits and received a one star medallion. Danielle Aschenbrenner reached the two star level with 28 credits. The highest award, a three star medallion, went to Taylor Carpenter, who served St. Martin in 35 activities over the past four years.

The Citizenship Awards were received by Aaron Teske and Kelsey Grzesiakowski.

The PTL recognized the retirements of three staff members, teacher Bonnie Justman, custodian George Beyer, and assistant cook Maerita Starr. The second grade class presented Mrs. Justman with a hand-made quilt containing squares from each of her students.
