Thursday Night on Main in Iola June 10
IOLA - School's Out Night is the theme of the Thursday Night on Main event beginning at 6 p.m. June 10 in downtown. The free event will feature music by the Iola-Scandinavia High School Pep Band, The Gospel Truth and Frank Sinatra Tribute by Ron Reynolds. The concerts, to be held on Main Street in the parking lot in front of Sweet Medicines Pharmacy, weather permitting, are funded in part by local sponsorships and through a 50-50 raffle to be held each evening. Fireworks raffle tickets will also be sold at the June 10 and June 24 events. For more information, visit www.ischamber.org. Sponsored by the I-S Area Chamber of Commerce and Iola Hometown Program, the Thursday Night on Main events will be held the second and fourth Thursdays in June, July and August.
