US 45 improvements to begin June 28
"We're very pleased that this was awarded," said Clintonville Public Works Manager Mike McCord. "Pre-construction projects are moving forward. The city's portion is on schedule."
Crews will reconstruct the highway. Improvements include a raised median, left-turn lanes and a multi-use recreational path. During construction, US 45 will remain open to one lane in each direction. Motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2010.
