Pease, a local musician and songwriter, has an engaging personality whose songs touch on and celebrate a variety of themes such as reading and books, the environment, family stories, and the joy of movement, laughter and song. Be sure to bring the whole family to enjoy this music- and laughter-filled evening.
Tweens and teens ages 11 to 18 are invited to a Hawaiian luau at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 1. The Make Waves Luau will feature creating kabobs served with rice and other Hawaiian-type goodies. Participants will learn some Hawaiian words, try to hula dance, do the limbo and have a Hula-Hoop contest.
Summer story hour will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7. All ages are welcome to enjoy stories about bubbles, pirates, rainy days, Popsicles and more.
Animals of the Rain Forest will visit the library at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12.
