Storm takes out 65 trees in Hortonville
A violent storm ravaged parts of Hortonville Tuesday evening, July 20, as it dumped torrential rains, uprooted trees and snapped many trees off above ground. Hortonville Police Chief Michael Sullivan worked with Outagamie County Emergency Management staff most of the morning Wednesday. Over 65 trees were lost in the storm, including several at Commercial Club Park. Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Disaster Relief sent a chainsaw team to lend a hand in Hortonville. Residents and property owners were reminded to report damages to Emergency Management offices at 920-823-5464. They are collecting data on structural damages, downed trees larger than 12 inches, and water or other damages.More from Community News
