Blue Ribbon Award celebration in Fremont
Fremont Elementary School will celebrate being a Blue Ribbon School on Thursday, Nov. 17.
There will be an open house at the school that day from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a ceremony then beginning at 6:30 p.m. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Education and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction are expected to be in attendance.
Elementary Principal Kirk Delwiche and Kathy Timm, who is a teacher at the school, will be in Washington, D.C. Nov. 14 and 15 to accept the award.
The public is invited to attend the Nov. 17 celebration.
