Bridge club meets Jan. 13, 20
The Waupaca Duplicate Bridge Club will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13 and 20, at the Holly History and Genealogy Center, 321 S. Main St., Waupaca.
Players should note that the game on Jan. 20 is a departure from the usual "Fourth Friday" schedule: there will be no game on the normal date of Jan. 27.
The club championship game and holiday party in December drew a near-record crowd, and the first place team was Waupaca's own Betty Conte and John Hebbring. Joan Wasserberg and Lucille Chaffee, also Waupaca, placed second in the competition, with Jay Quella, Weyauwega, and Carol Konrad, Neshkoro, in third place overall.
