Cinco de Mayo celebrated at Saturday Story Time
The Waupaca Area Public Library will celebrate El día de los niños/El día de los libros on Saturday, May 5 with a Saturday Story Time.
The library will host guest storyteller Paula Resop at 10:30 a.m. for the Children's Day/Book Day program.
Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to attend the free program. Pre-registration is not required.
Stories, songs, activities and a craft will be featured.
Children's Day/Book Day is a celebration of children, families and reading. The celebration emphasizes the importance of advocating literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
