Club raises funds at banquet
The Weyauwega Lake Conservation Club held its 23rd annual banquet on Jan. 14 at Hahn-A-Lula Resort,
The fundraisers provides needed funds in the Weyauwega-Fremont area.
To date, just over $8,000 has been donated tot he Tomorrow/Waupaca River/Lake Weyauwega Initiative.
On an annual basis, the Weyauwega Lake Conservation Club donates $1,850 to the Wooduck House Building Project, $500 to the WLCC Scholarship Fund and $500 to the Weyauwega Hunter Safety Program.
In addition, the club maintains the boat landing and picnic areas in the Weyauwega area.
