DECA Bulldog yard signs for sale
The New London High School DECA Chapter has "Bulldog Pride" for sale. At a presentation to the Chamber Breakfast meeting Oct. 19 at Familiar Grounds, DECA President Zeniff Flores revealed three options of yard signs with big "Bulldog Pride" lettering and a fighting bulldog in the center.
Flores said DECA students will be selling the red, white and black yard signs until Friday, Nov. 4. All proceeds will go directly to the DECA Chapter for student competitions. A bulldog yard sign would make a great Christmas gift, at a cost of just $10, or two for $18. The students are considering a second order in December.
To order, pick up an order form at Festival Foods Customer Service desk, or go to the main office at the high school. Orders will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 12 noon - 6 p.m. at Festival Foods; and Monday, Nov. 28 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at NLHS main office.
Stacy Huebner of Advantage Signs, N3814 Cty. Trk T (Mill Street), developed three options of the two-sided signs. They are a generous 18 inches high by 24 inches wide. Huebner is donating her time and materials to the students. "It's my way of giving back to the schools," said Huebner.
