The Weyauwega Area Fire District held its annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest for students in grades one through five, along with other activities for Fire Prevention Week 2012.
The first-grade winners are (Noel Isken, first place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Taelyn Lund, second place, St. Peter Lutheran School; Reed Curtis, third place, St. Peter Lutheran School; and Eli Boelter, fourth place, St. Peter Lutheran School.
The second-grade winners are Jaden Rice, first place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Bryce Dittmann, second place, St Peter Lutheran School; Aida Zeinert, third place, Weyauwega Elementary School; and Madelyn Nehring, fourth place, Weyauwega Elementary School.
The third-grade winners are Ashley Loehrke, first place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Gracie Hansen, second place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Cora Lederer, third place, Weyauwega Elementary School; and Sami Smith, fourth place, Weyauwega Elementary School.
The fourth-grade winners are Blaizden Hoffman, first place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Brock Krenke, second place, St. Peter Lutheran School; Bohdan Witkowski, third place, Weyauwega Elementary School; and Noah Porter, fourth place, Weyauwega Elementary School.
The fifth-grade winners are Destiny Kempf, first place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Tiffany Hubler, second place, Weyauwega Elementary School; Zarek Hoffman, third place, Weyauwega Elementary School; and Megan Nehring, fourth place, Weyauwega Elementary School.
The first-place winners will be entered in the Wisconsin State Firefighters Association poster contest. All students who entered the contest received a pencil and pad from the Weyauwega Area Fire District.
