Fremont historical society to meet on Nov. 28
The Fremont Area Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in the council room at village hall to discuss events for 2012 and how it can save the old Beaver Dam School.
The school is currently used as the Fremont Town Hall. The town of Fremont has voted to build a new town hall in the future and has offered the building to the historical society - if it can come up with the funding to maintain it.
If the historial society can do so, it would use the building for a museum and a learning/research center.
The group is seeking public input on the topic.
