Friends of the New London Public Museum to hold Annual Membership Meeting
The Friends of the New London Public Museum (FNLPM) will hold its annual membership meeting and Dinner Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the American Legion Hall in New London.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. The formal annual meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. with agenda items including the election of Board Members, approval of bylaw amendments, and a recap of FNLPM's accomplishments in 2011. FNLPM will also award its first grant to the New London Public Museum during the meeting. The evening will conclude with dessert and a program by Museum Director Christine Cross, "Friends to Advocates; Getting our Voices Heard."
The event is open to FNLPM members; advance reservations are required by Feb. 20. Cost is $10 per person. Community members who wish to become FNLPM members and attend the Annual Meeting can visit www.fnlpm.org, call 982-8520, or email friendsnlpm@gmail.com for more information.
