Jolly Rogers expanding pizza business
Jolly Rogers Pizzeria owners Bob and Shellie Leahy are expanding their 220 W. North Water Street business in downtown New London, after purchasing the building to the west of their pizza parlor last month.
First off, the Leahy's are adding a deck with outside seating behind the buildings, on the Wolf River.
Secondly, the building at 224 W. North Water Street will be converted into "Leahy's Pub", separating the bar from Jolly Rogers.
A third retail area at 226 W. North Water will be dedicated to frozen pizza making and the sale of Jolly Bob's frozen pizza.
"We needed more space for keeping up with our frozen pizza line," said Bob Leahy as he finished painting the overhang of the newly purchased building. All three business fronts can now be identified easily by the same paint colors.
While specific dates have not been set for the opening of either new store front, the Leahy's will move quickly to create their vision.
