The Iola Lioness held a blood drive Wednesday, Oct. 26, that yielded 27 units. This amount of donated blood will help 81 people.
First time donors were Joshua Jones, Denisha Erno, Caleb Domask and Carley Peterson.
Five gallon pins were awarded to Steve Schenck and Maggie Jones. Ruth Johnson received a two gallon pin.
The next Lioness blood drive will be held in June 2012.
