Little Wolf Junior Prom set for April 21
With a theme of "Under the Sea", Little Wolf High School's Class of 2013 will hold its Junior Prom form 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, April 21, at the Manawa Masonic Lodge.
Making up this year's prom court are: Megan O'Brien escorted by Aaron Strebe, Jennifer Spick escorted by Alex Thompson, Ansley Block escorted by Logan Hass, Torrie Dean escorted by Austin Dean, and Paige Schernecker escorted by Lucas Cate.
The grand march will be at 10 p.m. with Katelyn Langman and Donald Sell emceeing the coronation ceremony. The king and queen will be announced the day of the prom. Parents are welcome to join the students for the royal crowning. Student tickets are on sale in the high school office. The cost is $16 for couples and $9 for singles. Those students who are bringing a person who is not a student at Little Wolf High School must fill out guest forms in the office.
Kelly Jean Photography will be taking photos of the court at 3 p.m. at Lindsay Park. Kelly Jean Photography will also be available during the prom to take photos of couples attending.
Post Prom will be held at the Little Wolf High School following prom. Students may begin arriving for Post Prom at 12:30 a.m. Post Prom runs from 12:30 to 3:30 a.m. Cost is $2 in advance and $5 at the door.
Students will be able to participate in a wide variety of activities including: inflatable activities, blackjack, Plinko and minnow races. Participation in these activities will earn them tickets which can be submitted for prize drawings.
Prizes include: an Xbox 360 with Kinects, digital camera, gas cards, local gift certificates, mall gift certificates and more. Post Prom is sponsored by Families in Education. Any parent or community member interested in helping out at Post Prom may contact Julie Patri at 920-596-2861.
