The Waupaca Historical Society will hold a quarterly members meeting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Holly History and Genealogy Center, 321 S. Main St.

The meeting will open with Julie Hintz, Waupaca Historical Society director, presenting "Lesser Known Facts about Some of Waupaca's Early Settlers." The presentation will be followed by a "show and tell" with a history emphasis. Members should bring one historic photo or artifact, relating to Waupaca or their own family's history, to share.

Waupaca Historical Society President Dennnis Lear will also give an update on the state of the society, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

The meeting is open to the public. For more information about the Waupaca Historical Society, call 715-256-9980 or www.waupacahistory.org.
