Loehrke, Smith up for re-election in spring
Two members of the Weyauwega-Fremont School Board are up for re-election next spring.
Board President Neal Loehrke's term will be up as the representative of the city of Weyauwega, while Sandy Smith's term will be up as the representative of the towns of Mukwa and Royalton.
Thursday, Dec. 1 is the first day that those who are interested in running for those two seats may take out nomination papers. To take out papers, visit the school district's office.
Nomination papers must be filed by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Incumbents not planning to run for re-election must file a notification of non-candidacy at the district office by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23.
The seats on the school board are for three-year terms.
