Manawa Dam update
Repairs on the Manawa Dam are ahead of schedule it was reported at city of Manawa Committee of the Whole meeting, Monday, Oct. 1. Frank Jaeger, director of Public Works, said it was found that a lot of repairs have to be made to the back of the dam, so those costs are going to go up. He also said three areas were found where water is going underneath the dam. He said he he still thought the total repair cost would remain under $200,000.
