Manawa Lion's have busy year
The week of May 13-19 has been proclaimed Lions week in Wisconsin.
Over the past year, the Manawa Lion's has participated in a variety of activities, including building a wheelchair ramp, collected food and donated $500 to Manawa Food Pantry, collected coats for kids, collected eyeglasses, donated money for eyeglasses, hosted a Senior Banquet, awarded $2,000 in scholarships to graduating Little Wolf High School seniors, gave away 1,000 spruce trees, cleaned roadsides, donated $300 to post prom, donated $3,000 to Wisconsin Lions Foundation, donated $2,500 to the Manawa Activity Complex and sponsored the Mid-Western Rodeo which donated more than $24,000 to area non-profit organizations that worked at the rodeo.
