The Clintonville City Council met Friday, Jan. 13 to hire a new Park and Recreation Director and City Forester.
After a thorough search, with numerous steps in the hiring process, the selection committee recommended hiring Justin Mc Auly, Clintonville, for the position.
Mc Auly graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2007.
He is currently employed as a Supervisor at the Clintonville High School Recreation Center. He will begin his employment with the City of Clintonville on Feb. 13.
He will spend the remainder of February with retiring Park and Recreation Director Dick Writt. The City Council voted unanimously to hire Mc Auly.
Mc Auly was one of 20 applicants from across the Midwest.
