New London Chamber Awards
Platch Automotive was named New London’s 2011 Business of the Year.
The New London Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet was held Thursday, April 12. The following awards were presented:

• Mayor’s Special Community Enhancement Award: PC & Cell Solutions
• Mayor’s Special Community Enhancement Award: The Lady Bulldogs basketball team
• Chamber’s Community Enhancement: The New London Girls Youth Basketball Association
• Chamber’s Community Enhancement: Mosquito Hill Nature Center
• Community Service: The Hatten Stadium Foundation
• Chamber Service: Tom (Moochie) Barrington
• New Business of the Year: Hilby’s Restaurant & Sports Bar
• Excellence in Innovation: Kwik Trip
• Quality of Life: New London Rotary Club
• Ambassador of the Year Award: Michael Sullivan
• Business of the Year: Plach Automotive, Inc.
