Natalie Rustad and Carter Kurki were the local winners in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest.
Rustad was named the top winner for the Iola Lioness and Kurki was the top winner for the Iola Lions.
Both posters will move on to the district contest, with a chance to win and compete at the state and then national levels.
Other local winners were: Madison Kent, second place Lioness; Kaitlyn Golke, third place Lioness; Jessica Schaefer, third place Lions; and Ethan Olson, second place Lions.
All of the winners are students in the Iola-Scandinavia School District.
