Lexzy Phillips was chosen as a Wisconsin Jr. Teen (age 13-16) finalist to participate in the National American Miss Program, which occurred Aug. 26-28 at the Chula Vista Resort. Her top five finish has earned her a trip to the next round of competition this Thanksgiving weekend in Hollywood
The competition helps girls develop their communication and public speaking skills. Lexzy was one of 103 girls chosen from over 800 applications. The program included six interviews, a personal introduction and presence on stage. Lexzy was awarded a Miss Spirit award (one of seven handed out) and had a wonderful time. She was sponsored by Thyseen/Krupp, Quick Stitch and Dr. Lawton.
