Pregnancy Information Center to open in New London
The Waupaca Pregnancy Information Center (WPIC), in partnership with B.A.B.E.S. of New London, will be opening a second location in New London at 102 Northridge Drive.
The New London Center will begin seeing clients on Thursday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Center will be open on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Pregnancy Information Center is a prolife, Christian Organization supporting those affected by unplanned pregnancies or abortions, equipping them to make healthy decisions consistent with the sanctity of human life.
B.A.B.E.S. is a short-term, no cost, and respite program providing stress alleviation for young parents who face possible risk factors impacting the quality of life for their children and the stability of their family.
B.A.B.E.S and the Pregnancy Information Center will both be having their annual Banquets to help raise funds to continue expansion their ministries.
The Pregnancy Information Center Banquet, "A Night For Life" featuring speaker, David Bereit (National Campaign Director for 40 Days For Life) will be held on Thursday, May 3, at Crystal Falls Banquet Hall in New London from 7-9 p.m. Please have your RSVP to Darla-rae at 715-256-4144 by April 25.
The B.A.B.E.S banquet will be held at the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility at 1500 Handschke Drive in New London on Thursday, May 17, from 5-9 p.m. The evening kicks off with cocktails at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. It will be an evening of fun and entertainment featuring silent auction items, live auction items, raffles, and entertainment. In past years, over 150 have attended the event, and more are expected this year.
Individual tickets for the event are $40 each and include dinner. Tickets can be purchased from any B.A.B.E.S. of New London Board member, at the B.A.B.E.S. facility, at the New London Area Chamber of Commerce, or at the door.
