Roses for Spring runs through March 27
For $15, Iola Lioness Club will deliver a dozen roses Friday, April 13. All orders must be received by March 27.
Last year the Iola Lioness sold more than 500 dozen roses.
Purchasing roses is a wonderful way to support the Lioness. Not only does the donation give someone a beautiful gift, but the funds raised through the sale of roses are returned to the community in a variety of ways.
Last year the Iola Lioness were able to provide funds for scholarships, Iola Children's Garden, River Road Community Garden, Scandinavia Food Pantry, Iola Village Library, Wisconsin Lion programs, Iola Police CounterAct program, Scandinavia Fire Department, Iola Living Assistance and Living Oaks programs, many I-S High School club programs, the Easter party, the Post Prom party, the Santa Visit/Parade, and too many more to list. Contributions to Roses for Spring go a long way.
Each year the Iola Lioness have a goal to provide each resident of the Iola Living Assistance with a dozen roses. Because of the community's generosity, the club has met that goal each year and they want to do it again. When making a regular purchase of roses, consider an extra dozen for the Iola Living Assistance. The Lioness will take care of the delivery.
Iola Lioness is one of 31 Lions and Lioness clubs in northeast Wisconsin participating in the Rose Sale. By ordering from the Iola Lioness, roses can be delivered in any of these participating communities.
To order a dozen roses for $15, ask any member of the Iola Lioness.
