School board meets Jan. 9
The School Board of the School District of Iola-Scandinavia will meet at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in the high school chorus room.
Agenda items include: Auditing and approval of vouchers, treasurer's report, administrative reports, budget status, food service report, 2012-13 Budget, drawing for ballot placement, and consideration of the following policies: Professional Staff Duties and Responsibilities, Teacher Job Description, Professional Staff Contracts, Professional Staff Unpaid Leaves of Absence, Personnel Hiring, Teacher Layoff and Rehiring, Professional Staff Development, Child Abuse/Neglect Reporting, and Fiscal Management.
After the meeting, the board will meet in executive session for the purpose of administrator evaluation.
Prior to the regular meeting, the Finance Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. in the high school chorus room to discuss the 2012-13 Budget.
The Personnel and Nominations Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, in the elementary school conference room.

The meeting is open to the public.
