School policy meeting on Jan. 4
The Policy Committee of the School Board of the School District of Iola-Scandinavia will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, in the elementary school conference room.
Agenda items include discussion of the following policies: Professional staff duties and responsibilities, teacher job description, professional staff unpaid leaves of absence, personnel hiring, professional staff development, teacher layoff and rehiring, child abuse/neglect reporting, and fiscal management.
The meeting is open to the public.
