Spring band concert April 24
The Iola-Scandinavia Middle and High School Bands will present their spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in the school auditorium.
The Middle School Band will play "Salute to America" as one of their selections.
The High School Band will play a variety of music including a medley from "Phantom of the Opera" as well as music from "Pirates of the Caribbean."
Seniors will be honored with special plaques recognizing their eight years of participation in the I-S Band program.
The John Philip Sousa and Marine Corp's Semper Fidelis awards will also be presented.
