Transportation photos needed for calendar
In past years, community members have been very helpful in providing historic photos for our photo calendars. This year, we are looking for modes of transportation in the New London area throughout the years. We could use:
• a bicycle photo,
• a logging photo with horses in it, or a horse and rider,
• delivery vehicles, old cars, etc.
We need these photos by Oct. 31 to start production of the calendar. The larger the photo the better. Any history on the picture would be of interest as well.
Can you help out? We would be happy to give you credit on the calendar for your contribution. Please drop photos at the Buyers' Guide/County Post East office located at 416 W. North Water Street between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or drop in slot inside the entrance of the building.
