Two seats open on council
Chuck Gerlach and Jerry Juve are not seeking re-election to the Common Council next April.
Those interested in running for either seat must obtain nomination papers from City Hall in order to be on the ballot in the spring.
Nomination papers must be filed at City Hall by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Twenty signatures are required on the nomination papers.
In the city's 1st Ward, Bruce Brunner is up for re-election in the April election.
He was appointed to that seat on Dec. 7 to fill the unexpired term of Jack Spierings, who resigned from the council after moving into the 2nd Ward.
