Veterans Day dinner Nov. 12 open to the public
An annual Veterans Day dinner served by Learman-Schaller Auxilliary to Post 2732, at the VFW, 305 E. Beckert Rd. Dinner will be start at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12. Guest Speaker this year will be John Maino from the radio station WIXX. The menu consists of baked chicken and beef tips with all the fixings.
Tickets are $10 per person and $7 for children under 10. All tickets must be purchased by Nov. 8 to plan for the meal. Tickets are available at VFW Friday night fish frys or from any Auxiliary or Post member. If you have any ticket questions call Billie Jean Allen at 982-2764. Once again, no tickets will be sold the night of the dinner. If you have never been to a Veterans Day dinner you are in for a surprise.
