WMS presents concert
Students will present the Christmas Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Waupaca Middle School.
The sixth-grade mixed choir, conducted by Laurel Leder and accompanied by Barbara Kirk, will start the concert. Students will sing "Jamaican Noel," "Sweet Singing in the Choir," "It's Snowing" and a song from the TV show Glee, "Deck the Rooftop."
The band will then take to the stage and perform "The Legacy of Christmas," "The King's Flourish," "Christmas Elves," "Rockin' with the King" and various carols.
The band's portion of the program will begin with a short video showing the progress the students have made since getting their instruments in August. The band is under the direction of Shana Rogney and Greg Biba.
