Bar fight leads to drug charges
WAUPACA - William Ray Parker, 32, Waupaca, was charged Oct. 12 with felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, Waupaca County Sheriff's Deputy Dan Lewinski responded to a fight reported at Wally World on County Road QQ in King.
According to the criminal complaint, Lewinski spoke to the bar's bouncer, who said William Parker and Joshua Parker, 30, Manawa, were involved in a fight with another customer, then drove away toward the city of Waupaca,
A short time later, Waupaca Police Officer Josh Krueger pulled over Parker's vehicle on West Fulton Street.
William Parker said the other man had punched him first and knocked him down. Joshua Parker said he had attempted to break up the fight and had blood on his hands from picking his brother up off the ground.
Lewinski searched William Parker subsequent to his arrest and reported finding 3.5 grams of pot in his pocket and a clear glass pipe in the vehicle's console.
Joshua Parker was charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct as a result of the incident.
In November 2006, William Parker was convicted of delivery of cocaine and later sentenced to six months in jail.

I know that adult males in the state of Wisconsin are required to visit a certain, minimum number of drinking establishments per week, but I have better things to do.
Next thing you're going to tell me is that a draft beer costs more than 50 cents.
