Bench warrant issued for Panus
Waupaca County Circuit Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Justin E. Panus, 24, Clintonville.
Panus was charged Sept. 29 with felony bail jumping.
On May 16, Panus appeared in court on felony charges of false imprisonment, reckless endangerment and kidnapping. He was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond with the condition that he have no contact with his ex-girlfriend, who had been named as a victim in the criminal complaint.
On Aug. 14, a woman called New London police to report that Panus had asked several times to contact his ex-girlfriend and ask her to drop charges. The woman said she texted his question to the ex-girlfriend, according to the criminal complaint.
