Four criminal cases filed against Iola man
The Waupaca County district attorney's office filed two more criminal cases against Jammie D. Sanderfoot, 32, Iola, on Tuesday, April 24.
At 1 a.m. Saturday, April 21, Waupaca County 911 received a call that Sanderfoot had been swearing and yelling at his girlfriend because he was angry that he had been arrested and charged with multiple offenses the prior weekend. As a condition of his $2,000 signature bond, Sanderfoot was ordered to have no contact with the woman that he allegedly battered and abused.
When he learned that the woman's father called police on April 21, Sanderfoot allegedly ran away.
On April 23, deputies Patrick McClone and Jon Loken went to Sanderfoot's house in rural Iola to pick him up on the most recent complaint.
When they arrived, the deputies noticed that the garage was filled with smoke. They found that a wood stove had been improperly sealed.
The deputies also found a shiny, new, red and black wood splitter in the garage. The wood splitter matched the description of one that had been reported stolen from a home about a mile down the road. They contacted the owner of the stolen wood splitter, who came to the residence and identified the wood splitter as his.
Sanderfoot has been charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of felony bail jumping as a result of the April 21 incident. He has also been charged with theft and felony bail jumping.
