Gun fired during domestic dispute
Carlo I. Lantz, 35, Scandinavia, was charged with possession of a firearm while intoxicated, strangulation, two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of felony bail jumping.
On July 26, Lantz appeared in Waupaca County Circuit Court on felony charges of criminal damage to property. He was released on a $1,000 signature bond on the condition that he not commit any crimes.
According to the criminal complaint, a boy told a school counselor that Lantz fired a gun into the floor during a verbal altercation with a woman on Oct. 31. Lantz is also accused of choking the same woman on Nov. 1. The two had been drinking prior to the shooting incident.
