Police seek robbery suspect
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is seeking leads in an armed robbery of the East Side Mobil Express on the corner of Royalton Street and Tower Drive in Waupaca.
Detective Sgt. James Gorman said the suspect entered the store through a back entrance at approximately 3 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
The suspect is described as white, between 5-foot 7-inches and 5-foot 10-inches, thin build, weighing over 150 pounds, with a goatee or scraggly, light-colored beard. A witness told investigators that the suspect carried a knife or bladed object.
